Draco Incendus Torchwing

Not sure if you even come here anymore, but here's your picture! Sorrys about the wings, my mouse was acting all screwy, resuting in my ripping the cord out of it ^^. Sad eyes, computer altered

I altered a drawing I called 'sad-eyes', and made him look less sad and purtyful. Didn't work, he still looks sad....in a different sort of way. I shaded using yet another technique (I'm searching for one I like), and this one is the best yet. My brush was a little small, and Gimp messed up my selecting tool, so that is why the shadow on his jaw is all funky. Not to mention the airbrush pressure was up to far, and this was my first time shading this way. I had fun with the background, it came out looking...cloudy. Once again, excuse my stupidity. I'm a wee bit tired, I was up vury late last night....playing cards.... you should try playing Nervous at 12:30 with a few people, its pretty fun....and then playing Spit....and some other game I don't remeber....Ah, ignore me, I'm rambling....

Energy

Photo alteration that came out fun-looking. 'twas originally a pic of me dog, Nico, after he had a bath (hence the ear flipped backwards and the ruffly fur). I luff the colors in his eyes, it's like....crystally...or something. Please excuse my stupidness, and enjoy my spiffy picture.

Bruce

Sorry I havn't been posting a lot recently. I've been busy. And sick. Sick+busy=bad.


Beware him....his name is Bruce....and he will eat you in your sleep. Bruce was one of the many digusting decorations that were in 1 of our condos. You see, every year, my parents and I rent a condo on a ski slope on North Carolina. If we wanted to, we could ski off of our porch, but the condo people would attack us if we did. Last year, my uncle and two cousins came with us, and rented the condo next to us. In their living room, above the fireplace, hung Bruce- a creepy stuffed deer head. Later that week, me and my cousins found Bruce's feet in the closet, nailed to a board like coat-hangers! Ick. A little prank was played that night....but I won't get into details. I swear that Bruce moved. Actually (Arg, I hate how I can't do paragraphs), we got so creeped out by Bruce, that we had to take him off the wall and stuff him in the other condo's closet. I tried to carry it half way, but screamed and threw it at my mom. Yeah, I'm a big baby. deal with it. Oh, and that little black smudge to the right (on the bottom) of Bruce? That would be the top of my head. SO NOW YOU ALL KNOW WHAT THE TOP OF MY HEAD LOOKS LIKE! MUHAHA! As you can see, I'm SEVERLY bored right now.....

Haha, I had to change my avatar back. 'Twas getting on my nerves, being all blurry and detailed. I just tweeked my old image to get it to look more like me. I was still iffy (when I originally made that avatar) on how to do hair, so I left it blank. But I ALSO forgot to do my horns and spikes. Oy. So, enjoy my new and improved avatar.

This is Kalfiez, a buddy from Dragnix. I know you said that you didn't have underbelly plates, but I forgot and drew you with them...sorry. And I didn't know if EVERY tooth from your upper-jaw went down over your lower one, or just the fangs, so I just did the fangs. Uh...I hopr you like it, and tell me if you see anything wrong. And sorry it's so light.....stupid scanner.

Grey Dragon

Grey, gray, whatever.

This originally wasn't supposed to be in grey. GIMP changed it to grey scale, without me knowing. When I found out, I was frustrated (on account of what it did to my LAST picture) and even MORE mad at it. I decided to just test it out, and it came out ok. The fuzzy thing, in my opinion, came out cool. I was also experimenting with GIMP's tools and a new shading technique. The tools are ok, but the shading....

And for those of you who have seen Raksheen's art, I wasn't copying her shadeing technique. It was on this tutorial thing, and it said that was a good way to shade. It just doesn't work for me....

ugh....I am SO bored right now. Believe it or not, I really don't like spring-break or summer vacation. Boring as watching grass grow. Ever since I went to this one eeevil camp, I've disliked ALL of them, so I pretty much just sit at home the whole time. But anyway, I am reeaally mad at my computer for doing this to the picture. I was testing a new way to shade, and it came out pretty nicely, but when I saved it my computer put all of those freakin' dots on it. I worked so hard on it, too. I almost murdered this stupid technological contraption. Arg.

And who ever thought up these smileys was either drunk, high or just really stupid:

Random

This is what happens when you give a girl a pen, a blank sheet of paper and a some sugar. These are my additions to the Randomness Competition between Delbin, Makla, Blackhawk and I. The striped thing isn't in the competition, it's just...there. Ok, now for descriptions:

1.The skinny thing with the cane is named Muhamad Vodka (that's why the word 'vodka' is in front of him. Pridwynn wrote it a tad too big.) He is the cousin of Wayne Raul Vodka, who I refuse to explain at the time. The cane was Prid's idea, because she thought the eye made him look blind.

2. The flamingo/pirate thing is just that- a flamingo/pirate, now affectionatly called a 'Flapirate'. He is a new addition to a book (yep) Pridwynn and I are writing. Me and another friend you may know, Meena, are making a play out of said book, and I have been casted the part of this flapirate. He just happens to kill Shla....but I will not get into details about the book/play.

3. The striped...um...I-don't-even-know-what-it-is thing is just a stupid little doodle I did with a cool pen Meena had recently given me. He was the first thing drawn with it ^^. Eh, not much more to say about him.....

These are the type of things I litter Pridwynn, Meena and Megabot's notebooks with. I myself don't draw on my schoolwork. Stuff like this only happens in other people's notebooks.

And Makla, I didn't take your 'things'. Its really the only word I could describe them with.

Me cat

This would be Dexter, the ginormous, fat cat that lumbers around my house. He sits upon the pool-equipment box like a throne, and drinks out of the Jacuzzi like (I'm quoting my dad) it was his goblet. His favorite sport, I have found, is hunting lizards and beating up my whimp of a dog, Nico. Dexter himself is one of the weirdest cats I've ever seen. first of all, he thinks he's a dog. If you snap your fingers or call his name he'll come to you. If you put your finger above his head he'll sit up. When we open the cabinet door (the two dogs both rush over in hopes of getting a treat) Dexter sticks his head into the dog-treat bag. He'll also eat pretty much anything you stick in front of him. Second, he acts all ferocious until something is brave enough to stand up against him. There was this one time when he was cornered by a ring-snake a little bigger than my hand.....

this was typed yesterday, but I had to save it instead of publish it because I was on my laptop, which has no pictures at the time....

Rathius

This is a buddy of mine, Rathius. If I happen to post a part of my story (that other one has been trashed), this is the Rathius I'm talking about. Ok, back to him: He's not the slimmest of dragons, but he doesn't take offence to his weight. He is usually a very happy dragon, and enjoys long flights over the oceans and seas. As you can see, Rathius's colors are what most people picture a dragon to look like: green with red-ish wings. He's not the war-type dragon, though he'll go into battle if he's truley needed. His Element is fire, though he wishes it was water. Rathius loves anything and everything aquatic. He's even developed a talent to talk to undersea creatures! Despite his calm nature, he has his sudden outburts. And trust me, you DON'T want to get a dragon like Rathius mad.

The Hobbit

I don't know what happened, Blogger just deleted this post (for those of you who saw the original one). But anyway, this is a fake trailer for The Hobbit. I know they're not REALLY making that movie, But I can dream...can't I? It's made up of different scenes from LotR, Dragonheart (as the creator said) and the Dragon Slayers. The music is from The Two Towers, though it's not on the soundtrack (pity).

I'm running out of post titles...

UPDATE: New wireless internet box, but it won't work with my laptop for some reason. And, since I do EVERYTHING on my laptop (i.e. scan pics, resize pics, type, etc..) I still can't get anything up here. Sorry.

More on Eragon:

Stormfront Studios (those who made Lord of the Rings: the Two Towers video game) have just let out a small article saying the an Eragon video game will be released this Fall, in conjunction with the movie set to release this December. It will be available for all current game consoles EXCEPT the Xbox 360 (relief overwhelms me, I have a Gamecube), and...=]], you are able to fly around on Saphira's back. Thats good considering you don't find many games where you can fly as a dragon (only ones I've found are Drakengard [which I can't get] and Reign of Fire). I got this info from...guess...Shur'tugal. Random-ness...

I may not get any pictures up for a bit, our wireless connection went down two days ago. My dad went to get a new box today, but it took about a week to get the other one working. The reason I've been gone is because I was backpacking with my class (the paaaiin), and we went to Busch Gardens (again) yesterday. And, Kumba was OPEN! Woo! Though, my mom and I got a cold (mine is getting worse, I don't know about her's) from it.
